Loving the Outdoors

It was a sunny afternoon. Decided to went outside the house. Took some random shots.

took this pic at a motor pool near our house
It was also windy so my cous Jonathan decided to fly a kite :)

Suzy the Snail

I accidentally found this small snail on a chair at our kitchen around 2am. Since I’m not wearing my eyeglasses that time, I thought it was a singsing pari or maybe a poop haha! When I took it for a closer look, I realized that it was a snail. I wondered where it came from and how did it get to the chair. I named her Suzy. Suzy seemed dead that time because her shell had cracks and because she was so small she looked so fragile. So I decided to put her in a plastic cup and filled it with water. After a while, she moved and crawled. I thought of feeding her but the hell I don’t know how and where on earth will I get her food this time of the day?! Hahaha!!! I was so childlike. Seems like I’m back to being 10 yrs. old!!! Anyway, since I was in the kitchen, I found a bundle of pechay (Chinese cabbage) and tore a leaf from it. I put it in the plastic cup and placed Suzy there. I found a new pet =)

I decided to make Suzy the subject of my photo shoot. =p

Suzy died the day after I found her.

Experimenting with Canon

I really enjoyed using the Canon digital camera. In fact I almost tried all of its featured effects. Below are the photos I took with different effects =)

Experience Canon

I borrowed my cousin's Canon digital camera. I had a good time taking pictures since it has many featured effects than my Sony Cybershot. What I like most is the fish-eye effect. Here are some photos I took. By the way,  I always use flowers as my subject since they are just outside our house (easy to find though haha!).

Cutie Chloe

Last month, I was asked by a relative to baby sit Chloe (her baby Schi tzu). Chloe is about three months old now. She is so adorable and super cute! Just like a stuffed toy =)

Palawan flowers

When we were in Palawan, I've noticed these unique flowering plant almost everywhere (you can find many of them at the Palawan's Baywalk). They were so cute and I've never seen any of these in Manila or other provinces that I've been to. It's unique for me because a stem bears small flowers which varies in different colors like yellow, red, orange, and pink. Well, uhm... I can't explain it really haha!!! =) Anyway, I took some photos of them. These were the only good shots I got.

I don't know the name of this flowers below but they also caught my attention since they were so many of them at the hotel that we've stayed in.
